Adopt
Thank you for considering adoption! Every animal adopted from Paws for Cause opens space for us to rescue another. Our goal is to ensure the best possible match between our rescue animals and their forever families.

Here’s how our adoption process works:

1. Submit an Adoption Application
We require a completed Adoption Application Form as the first step. This helps us understand your lifestyle, experience, and the kind of companion you’re looking for.

2. Application Review
Once submitted, our team will review your application and respond within 24–48 hours. If we feel it could be a good match, we’ll move on to the next step.

3. Foster Call
We’ll schedule a call between you and the animal’s foster caregiver. This is your chance to learn more about the animal’s personality, behavior, and needs in a real home

4. Meet & Greet
If both sides feel it’s a good fit, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the animal. Either in person or virtually.

5. Home Visit or Reference Check
Depending on the animal, we may conduct a home visit or speak with references to ensure the environment is safe and suitable.

7. Finalizing the Adoption
Once approved, we’ll guide you through the adoption agreement and any final steps. Your new pet will come with vet records, vaccinations, and a microchip.
