Paws Rescue Update

Happy Spring everyone!!

We wanted to send a quick update to everybody about how our rescue has been doing since we transitioned from pet care business to being a rescue.

Our wonderful team which consists of Marie, Josee, Sarah, Kristin and Tessa works very hard to care for the cats and dogs coming into care. We also want to acknowledge our amazing volunteer, Annick, who helps us tremendously with out ongoing bottle drive. We have made great partners with international rescue organizations, Veterinaria Super Mascotas/Every Dog's Wish (Columbia), Furry Angels Haven (China) and Soi Dog Foundation (Thailand) and want to thank them for putting their trust in us to help care for their beloved stray rescues.

In December, we welcomed sweet Mochi into care from Veterinaria Super Mascotas rescue in Columbia, and she has since been adopted to a loving home. Locally, we rescued little Jiggy who is now adoption pending and will soon be welcoming two other girls into care from Columbia and Thailand. We've also rescued over a dozen cats since we opened intake and have rehomed all of them. We currently have one litter of kittens and 2 young females who will soon be available.

As our little rescue continues to grow, we want to thank everyone who has started following along our animals' journeys, our wonderful foster families and our veterinarian who cares for our rescues' medical needs. We also want to thank the local community artisans, vendors and businesses who donate items for our auctions, and for all of our supporters who donate items for our rescue, and their empties to our ongoing bottle drive towards our fundraising efforts.
